Phase 1 Training Designated attendees will undergo approximately 14 days of initial training at the MUNCH Bakery headquarters, or at a location designated by MUNCH Bakery Management, beginning approximately six to nine weeks before the franchise is scheduled to open for business. Phase I instruction pertains to administrative, operational and sales/marketing matters; it also includes a generous amount of on-the-job training.

Phase 2 Training Training is provided at the franchisee's location. Onsite training typically takes place when the franchisee commences operations. Experienced trainers from MUNCH Bakery will provide onsite training for a period of one to two weeks to assist the franchisee with the branch grand opening.
Operational MUNCH Bakery Management will provide ongoing training and support in many areas critical to the success of the franchisee's business, including unit operations and maintenance, customer service techniques, product order and fulfillment, suggested pricing guidelines and administrative procedures.

Site Selection Prior to approving a site for a new outlet, MUNCH Bakery Management will provide the franchisee with clear guidelines in regard to a suitable location. MUNCH Bakery will require the franchisee to follow these instructions to ensure the appropriate site is located.

Ongoing Research and Development MUNCH Bakery Management will continue to research methods and techniques for franchise operations (including purchasing and promotional tactics) to enhance unit-specific profitability.
